Dr. Rana Patir is one of India’s most experienced neurosurgeons and currently serves as Chairman – Department of Neurosurgery at Fortis Memorial Research Institute, Gurugram. With more than 30 years of experience, he has performed over 10,000 neurosurgical procedures, including a large number of complex brain, spine, skull-base and craniovertebral junction surgeries.

Dr. Patir completed his MBBS, MS in General Surgery and MCh in Neurosurgery from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, followed by advanced neurosurgical fellowship training in the United Kingdom. This combination of premier Indian and international training forms the foundation of his extensive surgical practice.
