Dr. Vivek Vij completed his MBBS and MS in General Surgery from Baba Farid University of Health Sciences. He later achieved his DNB in General Surgery from the National Board of Examinations and became a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons (MRCS). He further enhanced his expertise through the Roche Preceptorship Training Program at the University of Alabama, Birmingham, USA, in 2005. He is an active member of the International Liver Transplant Society (ILTS) and the International Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary Association (IHPBA).
